A sommelier is a wine steward, and a wine expert.

If you order a bottle of wine at Olive Garden, or Texas Roadhouse, then they just pour you a glass and that’s the end of it.

At a high end restaurant they will maintain an extensive wine collection, and keep a sommelier on staff to help you order. A sommelier knows every detail about every bottle of wine in the collection, and they can talk to customers and help them find the best wine for their taste and palate. In my medical cannabis dispensary I want all of my budtenders to be the weed equivalent of sommeliers. Fortunately there are a great many resources available online for enhancing cannabis education. There are so many facets to medical cannabis that the layperson simply doesn’t understand. For example, everyone thinks that the THC content in a medical cannabis strain is the only important thing about it. This is far from the truth! With just a little cannabis education you learn about the terpenes and cannabinoids, which are essential to how the weed interacts with your brain. Working with medical cannabis isn’t just about getting high, it’s about knowing the science behind the high! Beyond the science of growing and consuming medical cannabis my employees also learn about the laws of the land. I consider medical cannabis to be legit medicine, and it should be treated with respect. My budtenders all receive top notch cannabis education, and I encourage anyone who smokes regularly to educate themselves. As they say, a little knowledge goes a long way.

Close your eyes and imagine a staff meeting at a cannabis dispensary. If you have never attended one, then you probably have a wildly inaccurate view of what they are like. You might envision everyone passing around a bong and going over the sales figures for the week. In truth, no one ever smokes weed in the dispensary, it’s considered unprofessional. Although the employees of the cannabis dispensary all get high regularly, it is never done on the worksite. I applaud his efforts, because these training courses make us the most educated cannabis budtenders in the area. Our cannabis dispensary may not have the lowest prices, but we definitely have the most knowledgeable budtenders. When our customers have a question, one of us will know the answer, and that makes our whole medical cannabis dispensary seem a lot classier. The boss says that he doesn’t want to just sell medical cannabis, he wants to educate his clients on every aspect of it.

My fiance gave me an ultimatum, and I can’t say I am surprised about it.

I have been with Joanne for almost a year now, and we have been engaged for three months. My friends all told me that she was going to force me to clean up my act, but I didn’t believe them. When we were dating Jo didn’t mind that I drank and smoked and goofed off a lot. Now that we were going to become husband & wife things had to change. Jo sat me down and declared that if we were going to be married I needed to find a better job and stop smoking so much medical cannabis. I know that this sounds crazy, but my husband Jim wants to open up his very own marijuana dispensary here in town. I really don’t understand why he thinks that this is the greatest idea that he has ever had, but he is very excited about it. He just will not let it go, no matter what I say to discourage him from doing it. If you know Jim, then you know that once he gets an idea in his head, then there is just no stopping him. He’s like a freight train or something and you better just get out of his way if you know what’s good for you. Anyway, Jim seems to think that he knows what he is doing, even though I know for a fact that there is a whole lot to learn about the cannabis industry that he hasn’t thought about yet. Jim says that since there is not a marijuana dispensary anywhere in our town or anywhere near to us, we would be very successful if we opened one. To me, though, it seems like there is just a whole lot of red tape and hurdles to jump through in order to start up a marijuana dispensary. However, Jim has been doing all kinds of research about it. He seems to know what he is talking about for the most part, but I still don’t trust him to invest all of our life savings into it! I hope that he is able to make his dream come true, but I have my doubts about it, that’s for sure.

My cousin Heather was selling her cannabis products online for a while, but now she has started to think that she wants to start selling them in a local brick and mortar store, too. Heather had been selling products online for a long time. Whenever she first told me that she was going to be selling her cannabis products and some CBD oils online, I definitely had some doubts about it. I did not really think that it was that great of an idea. I was actually afraid that Heather might end up getting arrested because of it or something! But Heather had done her research and it turned out that everything that she was doing was completely legal anyway. Heather had already figured out that there were different aspects to the cannabis products business and she knew all of them. I guess she did a lot of research before she started up her cannabis products business online in the first place. Heather really believes in the usefulness of all of the cannabis products that she sells. She always says that if she didn’t believe in it or use it herself, then she would never be selling it. She hasn’t decided if she wants to go that route or if she would rather try to start up her own business location. I’m interested to see what she decides, and I’m sure she will be successful.

My husband and I decided that we wanted to do something new for date night this month.

We always try to have a date night once a month and usually we just go to a movie and dinner or something like that.

Of course, that gets kind of old after you’ve done it over and over again. So that is why we decided that this time, we are going to take turns setting up our date nights. That way, the other one would be surprised at whatever we end up doing. But I honestly have to say that this month I was more surprised than I ever thought that I would be. The other day when I was at the doctor’s office in the waiting room, I saw an ad for a local recreational marijuana store.

I was pretty surprised to see that there was an actual print ad for a marijuana store in the newspaper at the doctor’s office! The lady at the doctor’s office told me that they still get a newspaper delivered to the office every single day, which was surprising in itself.

This is the only place that I know of that gets the newspaper everyday anymore! Anyway, while I was waiting for the doctor to call me back into the exam room, I was reading the newspaper and I saw the ad for the recreational marijuana store. There was a huge article and also an ad for the recreational marijuana store that is supposed to be opening up in town. There are lots of activists in our community who are pro marijuana and there were a lot of quotes from them in the newspaper. However, there were also a lot of people who are against the thought of having a mairjuana dispensary here in town, too. I personally think that having a recreational marijuana store will be great for the economic growth in our community. I’m actually excited about the fact that it’s going to be opening up here soon. I will probably patronize it because I like marijuana edibles once in a while! They are very helpful for anxiety and for chronic pain, too. I know that I will be using a lot of recreational marijuana once the dispensary opens!
