It was bound to happen and I knew that I would eventually just have to stop.

I tend to work a lot.

And when I say a lot, I mean in a way that’s just so not healthy. But what I do for a living is such a passion that it had been the sole focus of my life. Thanks to cannabis products, I’m now learning to find some semblance of balance. However, I’m sort of doing it from the crater that was once my life. I wish I could have gotten a bit more wise to the balance of life before my work nearly ruined my health. I’m not married so it’s not like I have someone living with me who could tell that I wasn’t taking care of myself. I ended up in the hospital with fatigue, dehydration and malnourished. It was a huge wake up call. Once I was released, I started seeing a holistic adviser who has helped me completely change my life. She was the one who recommended that I visit a cannabis dispensary. Alcohol and garbage food was out. Orange kush and yoga were in. That’s sort it in a nutshell. Of course, there are so many other moving parts to changing one’s lifestyle. But I am now seeing that breathing and being present for things other than my passion is beneficial. Well, it’s not just beneficial as it’s simply essential. This life offers us all just so much that it’s incredibly important for all of us to pay attention and be grateful. Sativa and indica strains have helped me slow down and be part of this life. And that has also resulted in a better life and far better health.

Yea, it didn’t even take me til lunch before I just knew

I used to ask my dad just what it was that made him ask my mom to share his life and start a family. He would invariably get this little, sort of a wry smile and a twinkle in his eye. And he would always say that he just knew somehow. Like, there was simply no doubt. I finally had that feeling just a short year ago inside the local cannabis cafe. This was where I had my first date with the woman who is soon to share my life. We’ll see about starting a family though. I met her in yoga class where we became sort of yoga buddies. That was really cool. I love eating about half an edible before I go to yoga. There is just something about indica products that help me get the very most out of those yoga classes. And if you haven’t been taking yoga classes lately, they ain’t cheap. So half a cannabis edible is like adding value to my yoga work. Anyway, I guess I smile a lot when I’m a little high and this fabulous person asked me for coffee. This wasn’t a grab a water and stand in the parking lot thing. No, this was to meet on a Saturday morning and spend the morning together and maybe the day. She picked the spot and I couldn’t have been more pleased that it was my favorite cannabis cafe in town. Yea, it didn’t even take me til lunch before I just knew. And sincerely, it was just as my dad had said it would be. I knew this was going to be for keeps.

The few times that I tried recreational marijuana, it didn’t really go all that well for me.

Since I can remember, I have had a really tough time when it comes being social.

I’ve always been so nervous about doing or saying something stupid in social situations. The weed that easiest for us to find back when I was in my 20’s was indica strains apparently. I got some of the sativa edibles while my wife got some other cannabis products. That very night, I blew my wife’s mind when after a dinner out, we went dancing. I willing went dancing because I just couldn’t not go dancing. Thanks to the sativa products, I may be on to something.

Wow, I learned the hard way that you can’t half ass physical therapy.

If you want to recover from surgery, trauma or whatever, lean into getting to all of your appointments.

And that includes those dreaded physical therapy sessions. I was in a motorcycle accident not too long ago that left me pretty mangled really. Thankfully, I live in an era of remarkable surgeons and techniques that have me put back together once again. I’m also quite thankful for cannabis products. They have simply made such a huge contribution. Thankfully, there is medical marijuana in this state. We’ve had it for several years now but this is the first time I chose to look to cannabis for healing. Getting my medical marijuana card was a no brainer for me because I certainly didn’t want to dabble in opioids. For sure, they were so necessary when I was first at home. But once that was done, I wanted something natural like cannabis products to help me manage the pain. I wasn’t so much interested in being a junkie simply because a drunk driver took a right on red and almost killed me. That’s the beauty of using indica strains and sativa products. The indica strains help so much with my mobility. Getting that extra bit of stretch or effort in physical therapy is easier to accomplish thanks to indica products. And thanks to the sativa strains from the local cannabis spot, I’m able to stay positive as well. In all likelihood I would just hire a contractor to sell the land, because I didn’t want to move to the jungle outside of the town for the rest of my life. I was del;ighted to find that the town has a lot of culture, good fishing and sailing, and some genuinely excellent cannabis strains. I genuinely spent an extra morning in town just visiting all of the bizarre cannabis shops and buying exotic products, as much as I enjoyed there, and the cannabis, the household I owned was disastrous.

During the summer, there is lots of natural sun and rain to help all of our marijuana crops grow healthy and strong. Unfortunately for us, the winter does not bring natural sun and warm air. Winter around here is usually foggy and there are few showers. We have outdoor props that fill our farmland during the summer, but during the winter we tried to concentrate on indoor crops. Last winter we had more than 20 different indoor plants. We had five Indica strains, five sativa strains, and 10 hybrids. Several of the strains were the same, but we had at least seven different items when we took everything to the processing area. After we harvest all of the marijuana plants, we take them directly to the processing facility. The marijuana plants get broken down, trimmed, and dried and then all of the various parts are used to make products that are shipped to retailers all over the state. Our indoor crops do the best, but it costs a lot more money to grow indoor marijuana. All of the temperatures and indoor humidity levels have to be controlled manually. It takes a lot of time and money to make sure that everything is perfect. That’s one of the biggest reasons why indoor grown marijuana is usually twice as much money as most sun grown crops. People often complain about the price of indoor grown sativa strains like blue dream and strawberry cough. When you have to use the very best ingredients to grow your bud, you have to charge a little bit more money for the marijuana strain.
