Since I work for an SEO business, I am very aware about how websites operate.

When I click on a website that doesn’t function well, I just groan inside.

If links are broken, content is misspelled or it is hard to navigate, I am done. I realize that the company didn’t invest in their digital marketing presence. They must not be very professional. Occasionally I will reach out to them and let them know what is broken and that my company can fix it. I have even found areas in code on a college website before. No call back from them, but they did fix the error. Recently I reached out to a cannabis dispensary to let them know their web design was bad. The dispensary website also didn’t rank very high on google even though they have better reviews over the competition. I was surprised that the company owner was thrilled to hear about SEO. He had been wanting to do something to help his business and didn’t know what. I started working with him through my company. We got the guy a brand new website that was fully operational and functional. We used SEO tactics to help the website rank higher on google. It actually has improved his business quite a bit too. The dispensary owner is downright shocked at the increase in business. I am glad he listened to what I had to say.

Since marijuana was legalized for everyone, there have been less drug related crimes and fewer people in jail over silly misdemeanor offenses that include pot.

I visited some friends that live on the west coast and we went to a marijuana dispensary while I was there. Marijuana isn’t exactly inexpensive. Even though it has been legalized for medical and recreational reasons, it is still easily one of the most expensive medications on the market. Insurance does not cover medical marijuana at all and the cost is fully on the patient. Medical marijuana is the only item that can be prescribed by a doctor, but is not regulated by the government. The laws and rules regarding medical marijuana are hazy, because federally it still isn’t legal but statewide is a different question. Whenever I go to a place where recreational marijuana is legal, I always stock up on products. I look for the cheapest prices on marijuana in the city. My girlfriend and I went to the West Coast for a couple of days to visit with some friends. While we were there, we went to a recreational and medical marijuana dispensary. The prices on the products were lower than we can get anywhere. My girlfriend and I decided to buy extra products. We put them inside of a shopping bag and then inside of a ziplock bag. After that, we put two more Ziploc bags around the product. We took the marijuana items to the post office and shipped them back home. Neither one of us knew if we were going to get in trouble for shipping marijuana. We didn’t even know if it would actually arrive. My friends and I love to go out on a Friday or Saturday night. The place to go is downtown in the city. There is always something happening downtown. There are clubs, bars, and block parties. If you can’t find something fun, it’s because you weren’t trying hard enough. My friends and I went downtown last Friday and we found ourselves at a block party celebrating someone’s quinceañera. The people didn’t care who joined the party. They just wanted everyone to have fun. They had lots of drinks and beverages and there was a whole table that had recreational marijuana supplies. I didn’t want to smoke too much of the OG Kush joint, because I wanted to spend several more hours at the party. When your life doesn’t include sunrises or sunsets, you might want to check up a bit. That’s because this could be a red flag that your life is too complicated. For me, life has become so busy with stuff that was really so trivial that I wasn’t even catching a single sunrise. I used to love to get up enjoy a bit of sativa in order to watch the world wake up. Well, I’m not one to be draped in jewelry or need four day weekends at a resort, I do like to do something special for myself now and again.

My treat day starts inside the cannabis dispensary. The staff is always super and helps me find something different to try. Honestly, they’ve always been right on the money with their cannabis product suggestions. Once I have my cannabis products, I head around the corner to meet up with friends at the cannabis cafe. Once there, we gather around the table to enjoy the fresh air and a ray of sunshine among the great vibrations of this local cannabis spot.

That doesn’t mean that I’ll be burning a ton of cannabis products all the time

At this stage in life, I’m really working toward making time for the things that I want out of my life. I’ve spent a lot of my life looking after others and following orders that I’m making my desires more of a priority. So these days, I’m trying to get to the cannabis dispensary at least once or twice a month. When recreational marijuana was legalized, I always meant to stop and see what the local cannabis dispensary was all about. When I was younger, I certainly smoked my fair share of sativa and indica strains. I was actually pretty into cannabis and enjoyed the benefits I got from marijuana. That was a time in my life that also happen to be a lot more balanced. I was able to forge a real work life balance back then. But once I started with career and family, there was less and less of my own time for my own things. It didn’t leave much time for the finer points of enjoying the latest in hybrid strains. In fact I felt like I was running all the time. So when I have a moment to myself, all I felt like doing was resting. That’s not the way it’s going to be anymore. I’m committed to being a regular at the local cannabis spot. That doesn’t mean that I’ll be burning a ton of cannabis products all the time. Some Sativa now and again is something that really does benefit my perspective. And after the life I’ve led, my perspective could use a little mellowing out.
