I spend a huge amount of time in my family room. During the afternoon, I regularly work at my desk. My desk is basically located in the corner of the family room, but I don’t have a lot of room in my residence. The family room is the greatest space in the residence so it is perfect for the bed and a desk. I also have a pretty giant window in the family room and I have a pretty amazing view of the parking lot and the playground. During the afternoon hours, the young ones are usually in school and it is quiet enough for work. If there are any wild sounds in the residence, I hear them during the afternoon. I was now working in the family room on Tuesday afternoon and I heard the most bizarre sound above my head. It sounded pretty much like tiny little footsteps. I heard the noise for 10 or 15 minutes or so and then it stopped! About an hour later, I heard footsteps again. I was sincerely worried that I might have a concern with mice or rats in the air duct, so I called the repair manager! The residence manager handles all of the issues and complications inside of our residence. I told the residence repair team that I thought there were rodents in the air duct in our residence. Just a small number of hours later, one of the repair professionals came to the residence to check on the HVAC duct problem. The guy got out a flashlight and looked inside of the duct work, however he did not really notice anything at all. I could have used a flashlight to look in the HVAC duct. I was genuinely thinking he was really going to look for the cause, but he did not seem to care enough.
