I spend a lot of time in my bedroom.
During the day, I work at my desk. My desk is located in the corner of the bedroom. I don’t have a lot of room in my apartment for a home office, but my bedroom is the largest space in the apartment so it is perfect for the bed and a desk. I also have a large window in the bedroom and I have a great view of the parking lot and the playground. During the day, kids are usually in school and it is quiet for work. If there are any weird sounds in the house, I hear them during the day. I was working in the bedroom on Tuesday morning and I heard the strangest sound above my head. It sounded like tiny little footsteps. I heard the noise for 10 or 15 minutes and then it stopped. About an hour later, I heard footsteps again. I was worried that I might have a problem with mice or rats in the ductwork, so I called the apartment maintenance supervisor. The apartment supervisor handles all of the problems and issues inside of our apartment. I told the apartment maintenance team that I thought there were mice in the ductwork in my apartment. A couple of hours later, one of the maintenance guys came to the apartment to check on the ductwork problem. The guy got out a flashlight and looked inside of the duct work. He did not see anything at all. I could have used a flashlight to look in the ductwork. I thought he was actually going to look for the cause, but he didn’t really care.
