Both of my parents were addicted to heroin and I grew up in a home that was filled with cruelty and violence.
When I was a little kid, I was always in and out of the foster care system.
Sometimes the foster houses were very relaxing locales and other times they were a complete train wreck. One time I was put in a foster house with a couple that was doing crack and other drugs more so than my own parents. I had to say something to the Social Services employer and all of the other kids in that house were taken away. I have exhausting PTSD and anxiety because of the violence that I had growing up. I did drugs when I was a teenager. I tried lots of ways to keep the exhausting thoughts away from my head. When I was put in a psychiatric facility at the age of 16, the shrink said that it might be time to try something new and different. The shrink was referring to medical marijuana products. The dentist could refer myself and others to a medicinal marijuana specialist because I was 16 years outdated and that was the minimum required age in the state for a medical marijuana referral. I was the only kid in high school with legalized marijuana products and that made myself and others a popular guy. I didn’t take advantage of the fact that I could acquire legal marijuana. After all, it was certainly pricey. I did get grants from the state and social services that helped myself and others find money to pay for the items that I needed from the marijuana dispensary.
