At this phase in life, I’m genuinely working toward making time for the things that I want out of our life.
I’ve spent a lot of our life looking after others and following orders that I’m making our desires more of a priority.
So these days, I’m trying to get to the cannabis dispensary at least once or twice a month. When recreational marijuana was legalized, I always meant to stop and see what the local cannabis dispensary was all about. When I was younger, I truly smoked our tolerable share of sativa and indica strains. I was genuinely pretty into cannabis and enjoyed the benefits I got from marijuana. That was a time in our life that also happen to be a lot more balanced. I was able to forge a real work life balance back then, but once I started with job and family, there was less and less of our own time for our own things. It did not leave much time for the finer points of enjoying the latest in hybrid strains. In fact I felt like I was running all the time. So when I have a moment to myself, all I felt like doing was resting. That’s not the way it’s going to be anymore. I’m committed to being a official at the local cannabis spot. That does not mean that I’ll be burning a ton of cannabis products all the time. Some Sativa now and again is something that genuinely does benefit our perspective. And after the life I’ve led, our perspective could use a little mellowing out.
