Mind, body, and soul was her mantra.

When I went to yoga class last week, there was a current yoga professor, and the entire time she was guiding us into original positions, she would whisper mind, body, and soul! It sounded like mind, body, and soul was her mantra, however after class, I talked to her about her mantra… She told myself and others she wasn’t just a yoga professor, although she dabbled in holistic health.

She l earned several years ago that mind, body, and soul were the basis of holistic health, then you had to treat the entire body, and not just an ailment or a pain.

I appreciated what she was talking about, and I wanted to learn more. After her last class that afternoon, both of us made the choice to go to a health food steakhouse that was right around the corner. She told myself and others she had an office just down the street where she treated several patients. I followed her to her office, where she provided myself and others 15 different pamphlets that pertained to holistic health. One pamphlet pertained to classes she held at the local community school. Her class discussed health and how it is possible for the body heal itself. I told her I was constantly of a mind that holistic health meant the use of marijuana. She agreed that marijuana was one of the natural ways they used to help the body heal, however people also needed to learn how to meditate and treat their body with respect. I didn’t realize how late it was getting until I yawned. I asked if she would notify myself and others when I could apply for her holistic health class, and she said it started in two weeks.
