Most sports stadiums are strict about cannabis use of any kind

I couldn’t go to many sports games when I was young because of the cost.

How is a broke college student supposed to afford $60 to $80 tickets for terrible seats in the first place? And if you want a better seat, get ready to pay even more! At least I can enjoy professional sports games with my wife as we’re both in our 30s and working fairly well paying jobs.

We have no intention of ever getting season tickets, in part because we like to rotate the type of sports games we frequent, be it football, baseball, hockey, or basketball. Trying to get season tickets for all of our local teams would prevent either of us from working our jobs while living inside sports stadiums. We’re also not heavy drinkers, so we don’t partake in that side of the experience either. Instead, we primarily only use medical cannabis products that we buy from one of the nearby eight or nine different marijuana dispensaries. While we wished desperately for the right to use our cannabis vape pens inside the stadium alongside the alcoholics who are throwing back bears, we would get banned for doing that. Every single major league sports stadium in our city has explicit rules against cannabis use of any kind. I’m not even sure if this policy would change if congress legalized cannabis federally tomorrow. Instead, my wife and I are forced to consume marijuana edibles before we leave the house. They usually start to kick in by the time the game starts, leaving us somewhat content for the next four hours.
