I have been managing a cannabis dispensary for the past 6 months, i have full ability to make all decisions regarding the cannabis store! This year I wanted to hold a celebration on 4/20.
I spoke with the owner of the company & she thought that the celebration was a good idea, and she told me to contact our lawyer to make sure there would not be any problems with the celebration & celebration.
I called the cannabis consulting agency on staff & left a message for the lawyer. The next day I acquired a telephone call from the cannabis consulting agency. I waited on the line so I could speak with a licensed attorney. The girl told me that we could advertise the celebration as much as we wanted, we could have any style of celebration & supply away things for free as long as the items did not have a value that was more than $25. We could have tunes as long as the volume did not cross the town decibel level. The lawyer also advised me that we would have to have extra security in the building that day. If we planned to fill the parking lot with vendors, food trucks, & clients, we were going to need an additional permit from the town too! All of these items took some time to procure, but they were necessary in order to have the celebration without getting the local sheriff’s office involved. We did not want to supply the police any reason to shut down our fun & exciting 420 celebration.
