The kids were paying people over 21 years of age to buy marijuana and they were giving them money to do it. My pal and I set up a sting and I was part of the operation. It was my job to approach people to ask them if they would buy marijuana for me in the dispensary. I offered them $20. $20 isn’ta lot of money. I did not believe my friend and I would catch many people unless my friend and I offered $50, although I was totally wrong. My pal and I nabbed eight people in the first half of the first morning. I had to bust one of the guys from my outdated highcollege with. I can’t say that I did not appreciate that at all, however he was approached by one of the other undercover officers. He was offered $20 to buy a $10 package of marijuana from inside of the store. The guy did not hesitate and delivered the product about 20 minutes later. He was in handcuffs soon after that.
