My store is called the Secret Stash, as a tribute to the days when pot was illegal and all the people had to keep it hidden.
It is a bright up-to-date day for pot smokers, but, and my store is living proof of that.
All of us celebrate not just smoking weed, but all aspects of the cannabis-friendly lifestyle. All of us labor with other local suppliers for cross-promotion, and try to maintain a prominent social media presence. One of the things that sets us apart from the other cannabis dispensaries in the section is our weekly “secret sale.” Every week both of us select a couple of odd random items in the cannabis dispensary and discount them – but both of us don’t tell the buyers which a singles! Of course the buyers do talk to each other, so as soon as a single person figures out which cannabis products are discounted, the word spreads fast. There is even a subreddit for our town that posts the Secret Sale cannabis items for the day. I like this! This means that my marketing scheme is working, and getting more people to talk about the cannabis dispensary. Whichever cannabis products are on sale invariably sell out within minutes, because they always have a stunning discount. Not only does it help to get the word out to the public, even though I can also use the extra discount to sell cannabis products that were just taking up space on the shelf. So far I have not discounted any cannabis strains, I restrict it to edibles, drinks, vape products, and smokeless cannabis. The fresh weed doesn’t need to be on sale to sell.
