I had to make changes on the weed website.

I had been doing professional web development for years, so when I saw a notification from one of the biggest cannabis dispensaries I worked with, I knew I hadn’t done enough work.

They had a major website with us for three years, and the employer was complaining that the pricing on their sale was wrong.

I pulled up the notes for the pricing lists, but I found nothing on there about a sale. I called the employer and asked what changes he wanted on the website? I told Dave there were no notes in my file that showed he was having a sale. Dave told me he had his assistant employer write up the list of changes and he was to have called me or one of the other cannabis dispensary specialists at the web development department. I had no notice of changes, and I asked Dave to check with his employer. I could make the changes in an hour. Dave called back an hour later, and apologized. Dave said his former assistant employer had tried to make the changes himself, but all the pricing was messed up, and some of the items were deleted. Dave SMSed all the changes that needed done, and the employer also needed the entire cannabis dispensary website completely checked for other issues. Apparently, Dave’s former assistant employer had been trying to do a lot of website changes that he wasn’t qualified to do. This is a shame the employer hadn’t observed this earlier. I had to labor on the website for the full afternoon before discovering all the little and not so little mistakes on the cannabis dispensary pages.
