I’m always forgetting when there has upcoming federal holidays on the calendar. Things like Presidents Day and Memorial Day are often forgotten for me until the week prior. That has been a constant for me since I was a student, however but back when I was a kid I enjoyed getting these afternoons off from university, then it was almost like an amazing surprise to find out about a 3-day weekend at the last second, you would assume I would have the same mindset these afternoons as a laboring adult, even though I do not get paid on the afternoons that I do not work… On the afternoons when we’re off for holidays, my associate and I do not get paid time off, and so a random holiday means an entire day of labor is lost for me. The only holidays that I actually look forward to are the ones where I can labor and still go to a store afterwards and save a bunch of currency. The Cannabis holiday of May 20th is a wonderful example of this! All of the cannabis dispensaries have massive sales on May 20th and you can get hundreds of dollars worth of cannabis products for a third of the price. If you’re looking to stock up on cannabis products for a couple of months for a small amount of currency, you better put May 20th on your calendar and remember it. It’s hard though if you do not have time to wait at the cannabis dispensary. Sometimes you’ll be waiting in line for an hour or longer on May 20th if you’re at the cannabis dispensary. I ended up buying an ounce of cannabis flower products for only $50 on May 20th this year. I also bought four grams of live rosin cannabis concentrates for only $79.
