I’m constantly forgetting when there is upcoming federal holidays on the calendar, but things like Presidents Day plus Memorial Day are often forgotten for me until the week prior.
That has been a constant for me since I was a student, however but back when I was a child I enjoyed getting these afternoons off from school, however it was almost like an amazing surprise to find out about a 3-day weekend at the last second, however you would guess I would have the same mindset these afternoons as a working adult, but I don’t get paid on the afternoons that I don’t work! On the afternoons when we’re off for holidays, my friend and I don’t get paid time off! So a random holiday means an entire day of work is lost for me.
The only holidays that I unquestionably look forward to are the ones where I can work plus still go to a store afterwards plus save a bunch of currency. The Cannabis holiday of March 20th is a great example of this, but all of the cannabis dispensaries have giant sales on March 20th plus you can get hundreds of dollars worth of cannabis products for a second of the price. If you are looking to stock up on cannabis products for a couple of months for a small amount of currency, you better put March 20th on your calendar plus remember it. It’s strenuous though if you don’t have time to wait at the cannabis dispensary. Occasionally you’ll be waiting in line for an hour or longer on March 20th if you are at the cannabis dispensary. I ended up buying an ounce of cannabis flower products for only $50 on March 20th this year. I also bought four grams of live rosin cannabis concentrates for only $76.
