I was not trying to call anyone for any assistance whatsoever

I waited 6 months for my boss to eventually give me the assistant manager position.

When I was hired at the cannabis shop in the first place, the manager told me that I was training for the assistant manager position. I honestly did not expect the training to last 6 months. When the boss finally provided me the chance to cover a shift on my own, I was genuinely hoping for everything to be perfect. I arrived very early so I could have the cannabis shop open at approximately 9:00 a.m. All of my fellow employees were aware that it was going to be my first shift plus everybody showed up early as well. It was nice to see the team get-together to celebrate my first shift. Around 10:30 in the morning, there was a fairly long line outside with customers waiting to come into the marijuana shop. Friday happens to be the one day of the week when my associate and I have a certain representative in the lobby plus she was giving out free grams of marijuana concentrate to all of the people. The nice deal spread like wildfire plus I wasn’t even alarmed to see a line. I was pretty surprised though when someone from the lobby rushed through the backdoor to get my attention. There was a concern in the bathroom. Someone overflowed the toilet. Water was rushing everywhere plus there was nothing that I could do. I honestly made an attempt to use the plunger to get the toilet to unclog. I told the lobby professional to close the marijuana shop. I didn’t want to call anyone for help during my first shift, however there was nothing I could do. I called the manager plus after that I had to reach out to a plumbing supplier.
