It surprised me when I walked into the medical marijuana dispensary.
I had learn the rules about what kind of marijuana you would get, however this wasn’t what I expected.
I knew they didn’t allow for smoking of marijuana or the use of edibles. The pharmacist offered marijuana flower and/or concentrates. I asked why I would purchase flower if I couldn’t smoke it? She told me that although smoking marijuana was illegal, you could crush it plus use it in a vaporizer. I asked about the oils plus was surprised to hear they put it under the tongue, where it would go directly into the bloodstream. I told them I couldn’t handle oil in my mouth. The pharmacist at the marijuana dispensary provided me the name of a website plus said there were many recipes on how to use marijuana while cooking. I was dumbfounded. I couldn’t buy anything that was considered an edible, although I could buy the marijuana plus cook with it when I got home. This was honestly weird for me. I thanked her for the information plus walked out with no purchases. There were too many red flags going up for me. I was sure the pharmacist was going to get me into trouble. I didn’t want to have the feds knocking on my door one afternoon, because a neighbor had complained about the aroma of marijuana coming out of my house, plus all I was doing was baking. I didn’t want to go to jail for using medical marijuana, however not in the way the government had approved.
