Using cannabis to alleviate leg cramps at night

My health is a priority to me.

I want to enjoy a good quality of life for as long as possible.

I realize the importance of taking good care of my body. I don’t eat meat, smoke, eat processed foods and rarely drink alcohol. I invest into premium skin and hair care products and get my teeth cleaned every six months. Every morning, I workout for approximately an hour. Following a thorough warm up of my joints and muscles, I do some kind of high intensity cardio. I vary between running, cycling and jumping rope. I add in strength training, such as lifting free weights, ab crunches, lunges, squats and plank holds. I’ve outfitted my home gym with a yoga mat, battle ropes, hand weights, incline bench, various weights of jump ropes, a stationary bike and mini trampoline. My exercise sessions are intensive and put a great deal of strain on my legs. Over the past year, I’ve begun to have issues with cramps in my calves. While I might feel some tenderness throughout the day, the real problems happen at night. As soon as I lay down and try to sleep, the muscles in my calves start to seize up. I refuse to take anything but plant-based medicine. Fortunately, recreational weed has been legalized in my state. I’m able to pay a visit to the local cannabis dispensary and shop for pain-relieving remedies. I’ve tried a variety of consumption methods, focusing on those products that are high in CBD percentages. CBD has proven effective at alleviating pain and inflammation. I apply cannabis-infused ointments, balms, sprays and roll-ons directly to my calves. I also take a synergistic approach and use tinctures as well as edibles to treat the pain from the inside.
