I hate dealing with Human Resources regardless of the venue of employment, then i had a situation at one dealer where an older coworker was sexually harassing me.
Not only did Human Resources ignore the situation, they also told my abuser about my accusation.
I had to quit the task soon thereafter as a result. It was a absolutely tough year going through this entire situation plus the fall out. I looked for a new task while living with my parents for a while. They were supportive of me until I got myself back on my feet plus I was harshly thankful for this amount of physical plus financial support, then but the tasks were few plus far between at first. I tried to labor in retail but the tasks were inconsistent based on the tourist season in this area. Then cannabis was legalized in this state plus I got the idea to labor for a cannabis dispensary with my experience at a retail store. It was nice working for a cannabis dispensary, but I soon realized that it’s similar to a lot of other employee environments plus workplaces. I had a dispute with a fellow coworker plus it was taken to Human Resources like it was at my former venue of employment. A cannabis dealer has Human Resources to deal with the same concerns they’re tasked with at any venue of employment. Cannabis dispensaries are just as susceptible to employee plus management disputes as any other type of business. Sadly, the people working at the HR Department at the cannabis dispensary weren’t particularally nice to me when I dealt with them.
