Medical marijuana changed my life.

My mood swings have gotten so bad that no one wants to be near me.

One minute I’m happy and joking with my family, and then the mood changes.

I’ll be angry at the same person who was laughing with me not a minute ago. Everyone told me I needed to get something for my mood changes. The doctor wanted to put me on antidepressants, but I said no. I would not take something that would make me sleepy and zombie like. I wanted to deal with the mood swings and not just cover them up. My doctor asked if I had ever used marijuana. I frowned and told him I was brought up in the seventies. Of course I tried marijuana. He told me I could be an excellent candidate for medical marijuana. I hadn’t smoked marijuana since I was nineteen years old. I couldn’t imagine smoking marijuana in my mid-sixties. My doctor told me they had a lot better strains now, and they have learned how to isolate the healing properties from those that make you high. I didn’t mind the high, but I quit because I worried what it would do to my unborn baby, and I never went back. He convinced me to try medical marijuana when he said I wouldn’t be getting high. All it would do was control my mood swings, which he thought was nothing more than late menopausal effects. Two months later, I was back in his office and he couldn’t believe how much better I was feeling. He assumed I was using medical marijuana. I told him medical marijuana changed my life, but I sure wish I could smoke it again. I missed the use of a nice pipe.
