We decided to go to a dispensary that was close to the hotel.
The place had a coupon in the hotel directory and we could save 30% off of our order by mentioning the name of the hotel. I went online to look at the items that were available. They seemed like they were a little bit pricey, but I had never been to a place with legal recreational marijuana before. My girlfriend wanted to go to the dispensary so she could get the whole vibe of the place. It was a 16 block walk, but we decided to take an Uber there and walk back. The driver dropped us off right in front of the dispensary. There was a line of people waiting to go into the building. My girlfriend and I got in line. The line was actually moving fast and it was only a few minutes before we were standing in front of the security guard. He wanted us to give him our state id. He looked at the ID and then he looked at my girlfriend and I and gave it back. He buzzed the door so we could go inside of the marijuana shop. My girlfriend and I looked at several different products. The prices online were the same as they were in the store. I bought some edibles, a small bottle of marijuana tincture, and several different pre-rolls. My girlfriend picked out some edibles as well and she got a disposable vaporizer pen.
