Cannabis dispensaries don’t have access to traditional banking

Recently I met a person named Jed, who is another seasoned timer from the early mornings of pot farming.

Jed was in his prime in the 60s and 75s, and even though he is retired now he still has a lot of amazing stories from the seasoned mornings… This month he is 100% legal and legit, the owner of his own medical cannabis dispensary and delivery service; back then he was just a farmer who had to carry a machete and a shotgun to guard his fields, but even when he opened his cannabis dispensary things sounded like they were pretty wild… However, since the federal government wouldn’t accept deposits from cannabis sales, they could only take money, no checks or cards! Sadly, all that money began to pile up, which made cannabis dispensaries a prime target for armed robbers.

There were a handful of odd crews that did nothing but target cannabis dispensaries to pilfer and rob! The largest surprise of this story was that it was from just a few years ago, because in all those decades cannabis laws still hadn’t changed on a federal level. To this genuinely afternoon medical cannabis dispensaries are laden with money, because of the federal deposit laws; it’s a fascinating story, and it makes myself and others think that if I were a criminal, I would really target cannabis dispensaries myself! Since I am a law abiding gun-owner, I will instead start inquiring to see if any of these cannabis dispensaries need a reliable night watchman… Guarding a cannabis dispensary from thieves sounds like a pretty cool night task to have.
