My father developed pretty bad anxiety as he got older. He started off just being a worry wart. The sky was always falling and the cup was half empty. Then it graduated to where he had trouble driving. Then my father started having anxiety attacks. It was awful. I felt so bad for him. My mother immediately took him to the local doctor. Since he is an older man they pushed a prostate exam and gave him some pills. My father was horrible about his pills. He never would call in the prescription. He rarely took the pills and when the prescription expired, he flat out refused to go to the doctor’s office again. I then pushed medical cannabis. It was a much nicer experience for him. No prostate exam or pills this time. He got a script and then could go into the medical marijauan facility when it struck his fancy. He was able to get a vape and a cannabis oil. Now he wears it around his neck and smokes when he gets anxious. It is easier for him since he works outside. He also is better about the renewal process since it is just a fee paid and one quick doctor’s visit. My father’s anxiety has finally started to get a little better with cannabis. A prescription pill just wasn’t the right fit. I am glad that I found this for him. I wonder if most anxiety patients would like cannabis over a pill better. It seems healthier to me.

When I was a lot younger I had more energy by nature.

I’ve been drinking coffee on and off since I was 10 years old, but I really need the caffeine these days if I want to function at the level and degree that I need to.

I don’t know if my lethargy is due to age or personal health issues, but it has certainly gotten worse over the last 10 years or so. You would think that somebody who feels extremely tired during the day but also feels tired at night. It would make sense when somebody like this would get to sleep a lot easier than someone else. But the cruel irony is that for all of the exhaustion I feel during daylight hours, as soon as it gets dark out I start to feel insomnia. And that’s precisely why I had to find something to treat my insomnia. Unfortunately, I wanted the pharmaceutical drugs I tried and too many side effects. They would typically give me a hangover that I would feel the next day. Cannabis on the other hand comes with the fewest amount of side effects out of any medication I’ve yet to take for insomnia. I just have to find specific strains of cannabis that are strong and sedating to use before bed. Some of these Indica strains of cannabis might be too sedating for some users. Especially for people who want to use cannabis during the day, the sedating strains might be too much. If I’m going to use cannabis during the afternoon for instance, I reach for energizing sativa strains instead.

I think that anxiety problems are a lot more common than most people want to admit. A lot of the people that are closest to me have admitted to having issues with anxiety more often than only every once in a while. Maybe if we were more accommodating to discussions on mental health, people wouldn’t feel like they’re experiencing these common issues alone. When I was growing up, a lot of people were expected to keep their mouths shut about their problems. Well my parents were definitely open about mental health, many of my friends’ parents were not the same. That’s why there’s a lot in my generation who don’t know how to talk about their feelings. And sadly they’re going to raise children that are the same way. I wish that mental health was taken as seriously as physical health, but we’ve come a long way at least. Be done, especially when it comes to approaching these topics in schools where there need to be staff on hand to deal with students suffering from mental health crises. While cannabis is a phenomenal medication for mental health problems, some strains are notorious for making anxiety problems worse. While I typically get great effects from sativa strains if I use them during the day, a lot of people experience frantic anxiety from them. Some people can only handle Indica strains of cannabis because the sativa strains give them way too much anxiety. That’s unfortunate because for me sativa strains yield the best euphoria of all. The effects are sometimes out of this world in quality.

I could literally start every single afternoon at the cannabis cafe.

The cannabis cafe is the brainchild of a local marijuana business owner.

I knew when he opened the local cannabis spot that this was going to be cool… Look, I’m so thankful to have access to legal recreational marijuana. So I’m not putting any of the other cannabis dispensaries down. But medical marijuana was the first to be legalized plus there were very strict directions plus procedures to get into the marijuana business. So as a result, a lot of the cannabis dispensaries still recognize very clinical. So when the local cannabis spot opened plus it was so laid back, mellow plus welcoming, I thought it couldn’t get better. But then it did when that same person opened a cannabis cafe right around the corner from the local cannabis spot. This locale is a dream come true. Not only does it have some of the finest pastries plus baked goods in town, they are also cannabis edibles. As if that’s not enough, you can nibble you marijuana edible while enjoying the best blends of pop in the region. And I don’t say that lightly as I’m a pop connoisseur. But it’s also just the mood, ambiance plus superb vibration that makes the cannabis cafe so special. I can go in there after a brutal afternoon at the office plus remember that life is good. Sometimes, I don’t even buy an edible. Instead, I might try out one of their awesome coffee blends plus then just soak up the atmosphere for a while. It genuinely is just transformative that energy in the cannabis cafe.

I truthfully thought just getting medical marijuana legalized in our state was miraculous & I couldn’t have asked for anything more, however i have used marijuana for a long time to treat an inflammatory condition… But I had to entirely stay under the radar both professionally & socially with my cannabis use; Thankfully, I was undoubtedly lucky to know a small yield cannabis grower, but she was absolutely a friend from college who had a passion for sativa & indica, and over the years, she has produced some amazing hybrid strains, then and these afternoons she can be a legal cannabis grower.

I know that my friend just wanted to help those suffering out there with her special hybrid strains. This was her focus & I’ve so benefited from her dedication, courage & expertise. So when I see those hybrid strains for sale in a cannabis dispensary, I just beam with pride & joy.

The other afternoon when I was visiting over at my Grandma’s house, I saw this ad for a cannabis store in a newspaper that she had out on the counter.

This was highly unusual, in my opinion.

I mean, in the first site, there aren’t usually more than 2 newspapers around somewhere these afternoons… My Grandma is the only person that I think of who still subscribes to a newspaper in the first site; Also, I thought that it was unusual that there was actually a print ad in the newspaper for this cannabis store. It’s not every afternoon that you see a good big article all about cannabis & cannabis products right there on your Grandma’s kitchen counter! My Grandma had been studying the article, too, because her coffee cup was right next to the newspaper. I guess she was interested in getting some edibles to help manage her arthritis pain… When she told myself and others about this, I was shocked. I had no idea that my Grandma was in the least bit interested in cannabis products in the first site, much less that she was thinking about taking them herself. I personally suppose that it will be good for the section & its economic growth whenever they open up the cannabis store. It’s supposed to be happening in the next month, which is why they had the ad in the paper. My Grandma told myself and others that she is excited about it, too. Who knows? Maybe all of us will go there & buy some marijuana edibles together. That will very be surreal for me.

My sibling Joe works at a recreational marijuana dispensary & he has for quite some time now, and he went to work there whenever he graduated from high college a few years ago. He was never entirely planning on staying at this job at the marijuana dispensary for very long, but it has just seemed to turn out that way for some reason! Joe was just planning on laboring there section time for a while. He was actually thinking about going to work somewhere else when he started his classes at the local community college, but then it turned out that he entirely enjoyed laboring there. I don’t suppose that he entirely planned on laboring there for as long as he actually has. Joe ended up entirely affectionate the atmosphere in the recreational marijuana store & now he says that it’s appreciate a apartment away from apartment for him. These afternoons, he is still laboring on getting his business degree, but he is also laboring as a co-manager of the marijuana dispensary. He worked his way up pretty abruptly, that’s for sure. He has l received all kinds of things about marijuana oils & edibles & things appreciate that since he started laboring there. Joe is so good at his job that I suppose they will very end up giving him his own recreational marijuana store in the section soon, even though he doesn’t have his business degree yet, I suppose that they are going to entrust him with his own store. I suppose that the cannabis business is going to be good for him.
