It’s hard for every one of us to properly pay attention when unusual noises are happening everywhere. Every one of us understand the difficulties it must be for the drive-thru restaurant order take her to get everything right when there are lots of things happening and unusual people making noises in the background. When I call an arena to place a takeout order, every one of us usually have that person make a repeat order for me. I need to know that I have everything correct on the order and periodically the person will tell everyone of us that they cannot repeat the order. I recognize it is absolutely pressing to make the order correct and study back the order but it is also important that the order is right the first time. Every one of us ordered items from a place last year when they forgot the potato plus macaroni salad. The restaurant was out of potato salad when all of us arrived plus another batch was going to take 15 minutes to make. It wasn’t easily a pressing amount of time but I was in a hurry already. I was equally in a hurry this week when I ordered items from the marijuana shop. I called the dispensary to place the order and when I arrived, the order was study back directly to myself and others. These days, I’m really sort of kicking myself in the tail for not enjoying marijuana back in the day.

When it was just about everywhere back in college, I still steered clear of it.

I was one of the few who didn’t partake in recreational marijuana back then. I had to be a member of a very small minority when it came to those averse to cannabis back then. For me, I think it had everything to do with the myths and misinformation. Cannabis products were portrayed as evil when I grew up and where some sort of devil lettuce. But at that age, I was definitely quite impressionable. Whatever the authority figures told me, I swallowed hook line and sinker. That resulted in me going all the way through college without ever trying sativa or indica. So I’m making up for it now. I’m older and retired and living the single life these days. It’s pretty great really as I’m more active and into life than I thought I would be. I think living in the sun has a lot to do with that. I also like the fact that I can just go down to the local cannabis spot where I have found a new perspective. It was awesome the first time I walked into the cannabis dispensary because I was expecting stares. But what I got was a bunch of really nice people who wanted to show me and welcome me to the community. I’m very thankful for my cannabis dispensary when it comes to getting the cannabis products that I want and the great vibrations as well.

I firmly and totally believe that life is for the living. It’s the moment that should be seized for sure. That’s a perspective I try to keep right in the front of my mind. Our world can be full of terrible stuff. It’s really just no way around that reality. And we are all dealing with stuff and just dissatisfaction to outright suffering. Unfortunately, that’s a part of living. But there are also other, wonderful parts to life. For the longest time, I sort of got into the whole stress and suffering thing when it came to my work. This was sort of a learned response that many in my generation deal with. And he was very close to me when we were in college and early in our careers. So he’s a guy that knows me well and whose opinion I completely trust. It really helped me feel great and reminded me what’s important in my life. I’m thankful to have a buddy like that to turn me in when I’m off base.
